Basically stated if you are sad, just stay with it. This is the time of year many people get so down, so depressed. Some folks have no family or can’t celebrate the holidays with others for various reasons. It’s really a downer. I feel that covid has caused many to feel apart from society. But things appear to be looking up, better than last year it seems.
But if you are feeling sad, that’s ok. Don’t judge yourself. You are sad for a reason. You probably know what the reason is and think others will think it’s nothing. But if it’s bothering you, it is something.
Your mind and your body work together. I know I have had bad days and the last thing I want to do is walk but I do try to push myself out the door and at least walk up my own street and back. Walking makes my body feel better and the mind just goes along with the increase in blood flow and exercise in general. It’s like exercising my brain and my mood usually changes for the best. Sort of walk it off, like a hangover. Ya, I have been there but not often, terrible on the body. But how fun it is to go out with friends and have a drink or just go out?
The wearable weight loss device I wear on my wrist reminds me to be aware of my intake but my fitbit inspire HR loves to go out!
It’s dark here where I live. I’m going downstairs and walk for about 30 minutes, get some steps it. I would have to walk the 10 or 15 miles to town to walk off what I ate today! I don’t think I will get on the scale tomorrow. You folks stay safe and hope you have a great week.
