It may be a good idea if you have time to exercise in the morning before your brain wakes up and talks you out of it. Sometimes your work schedule interferes with this, everyone is different and this may take some planning. My wearable weight watch device is usually always on my wrist so steps are always my exercise but other forms of exercise is good. Do what you can, maybe not what you want to do but “DO”
